VCU Gladding Residence Center

The newly constructed, 360,000 square foot VCU Gladding Residence Center was completed under a $8.2 million dollar contract (electrical and fire alarm), and now houses 1,524 Virginia Commonwealth University students annually. With 12 Floors of traditional and semi-suite dorms and a 40,000 square foot courtyard, this project also included the historic renovation of an existing “bath house” which is used for communal activity space. Our team assisted in implement 8,235+ receptacles, 5,557+ light fixtures, and 288,000’+ MC Cable (equaling over 54 miles long!).

The final building features a fitness center, various study spaces, VCU res-life and a game room.
